Campaign
For Refuseniks

B'nei Akiva of Detroit is
embarking on a letter-writing
campaign to free Yuli and In-
na Kosharvosky. In conjunc-
tion with Yeshivat Akiva and
other local schools, teenagers
will volunteer to write letters
to the Kosharovskys every
day of each week until the
family is free. B'nei Akiva is
also helping to circulate peti-
tions, seeking the Kosharov-
skys' release which will be
sent to Soviet officials.
Anyone interested in joining
the letter-writing campaign
should contact the B'nei
Akiva office, 967-3742.
Members of the B'nei Akiva
Chevreyah Bet (high school)
will meet in the home of the
shlichim, the Appels at 8:30
p.m. Saturday to place a
direct phone call to the
Kosharovsky family in the
Soviet Union. Also scheduled
for the evening is a program
about the Kosharovsky's
struggle.
B'nei Akiva invites its
members, grades seven-12 to
join the group for an Oneg
Shabbat today at 8:30 p.m.
Guest speakers at the Oneg
will be Eli Feinsilver and
Merav Kopelowitz, high
school students from Israel
who will describe the dif-
ferences and similarities bet-
ween Israeli and American
teenagers. The Oneg will be
in the home of Susan
Schlussel, 16980 Jeanette,
Southfield. For walking group

B'nei Akiva's Chevreyah
Zach (grades six-eight) will
hold a rollerskating event on
Sunday. The group will meet
at Young Israel of Southfield
at 4 p.m. for departure to the
Bonaventure Roller Rink. For

Teens To Go
Rollerskating

Young Israel Teens/Na-
tional Conference of
Synagogue Youth will go
rollerskating at the Bonaven-
ture Roller Rink on Sunday,
meeting at 2:30 p.m. at Young
Israel of Southfield. After
rollerskating, participants
will have dinner at Sarah's
Kosher Deli. Included in the
cost of the event is round-trip
transportation, admission in-
to the Bonaventure Roller
Rink and the rental of skates.
NCSY will run Passover
workshops on Monday at 7:30
p.m. at Young Israel of
Southfield, where laws of
