Yeshivath Beth Yehudah
will present ten-year-old
Nethaniel Herstik and the
Jerusalem Great Synagogue
Choir at its mid-winter din-
ner concert at 6:30 p.m. Mon-
day at the Michigan Inn.
Their concert performance
marks the celebration of the
40th anniversry of the State
of Israel.
Born in London Herstik is
the second son of Elka and
Naftali Herstik. He was four
years old when he began per-
forming with the Jerusalem
Great Synagogue Choir.
The dinner concert is in
honor of Rabbi Norman
Kahn, Yeshivath Beth
Yehudah's executive vice
president.
There is a fee, and reserva-
tions are required. For infor-

Kadima, an organization
which establishes group
homes for Jewish adults with
histories of mental illness.
will sponsor a pre-Passover
party for its residents and
others in the community at
Temple Emanu-El on March
27 at 1:30 p.m.
Luncheon will be served, in-
cluding traditional Passover
foods, and a local D.J. will pro-
vide music and dancing. To at-

Currently, Kadima operates
one residence, the Gruskin
Home in Southfield.

ning Minyan for rIbddlers"

The Ibrah Club will meet at
7 p.m. Sunday. Rabbi Allan
Meyerowitz will discuss "The
Golden Calf: Can Man Talk
With God?"
Cantor Louis Klein will
present "Melodies of the Sid-
dur," noon Monday at the
sisterhood's "Lunch With
The Cantor."
"The Challenge and Fulfill-
ment of a Loving Marriage,"
led by Robin and Rabbi Allan
Meyerowitz, will be held
7:30 p.m. Wednesday in the
synagogue board room.
