eight departments, catering to
400 men and women — prepar-
ing them for jobs in the rapidly-
developing fields of science, high-
tech, economics and medicine.
The student body at the College
spans the entire spectrum of
Israeli society, including recent
immigrants, native-born Israelis,
Arabs, Ethiopians and Druse. A
growing number of students with
previous academic experience
and degrees are returning to
school to learn a new and more
marketable, practical skill. Last
year more than $70,000 was
awarded by HADASSAH, for stu-
dent scholarships.
