In a concert honoring the
State of Israel's 40th anniver-
sary, Thmple Israel will pre-
sent Israeli folk singer David
Broza at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at
the temple.
The concert is sponsored by
Hadassah's Hashachar Young
Judea and the Jonathan P.
Miller Memorial Fund of
Temple Israel.
In addition to Broza, the
concert will feature Cantor
Harold Orbach, Cantor
Robert Abelson and violinist
Amy Shevrin.
Broza was born in Israel,
spent his early childhood
growing up in Spain and
achieved his success in Israel
with a blending of the
romance of Spanish culture
and the spirit of his Israeli
background.
He has four hit records in
Israel and is about to release
his first major record since
coming to the United States.
The Miller Concert is
presented annually at Thmple
Israel to memorialize
Jonathan P. Miller, the son of
Jeanette and Milton J. Miller,
chairmen of the temple's
music committee.
