They made their home in

her life to Jewish education.
Milton was a partner in
Barkman Outfitting Com-
pany in Tawas City until mov-
ing to Flint, where he
established Flint Upholster-
ing Company.

William Caldicott, an
Australian radiologist who
gave up his medical work to
devote himself towards end-
ing the nuclear arms race,
will speak at a joint fund-
raising meeting of Physicians
for Social Responsibility and
WAND, Women's Action for
Nuclear Disarmament. The
event will take place 8 p.m.
Thursday at the home of
Aviva and Jack Robinson,
1589 Kirkway, Bloomfield
Hills. For reservations, call

During 1985 and 1986,
Caldicott and his wife Dr.
Helen Caldicott, the founder
of WAND, traveled and lec-
tured throughout Europe,
Asia and India. The couple
met with international peace

activists, government leaders,
physicians and scientists to
discuss the medical and
global consequences of
nuclear war.

Group Meets

The next meeting of "Make
Today Count" will be held,
7:30 p.m. Thursday in the
private dining room of Huron
Valley Hospital, 1601 East
Commerce Road, Milford.
"Make Today Count" is an
organization offering emo-
tional support to those with
cnacer and other life-
threatening illnesses.
