Harold Orbach concert which

preside at a games day at

On Monday, the Mothers'
Club will hold a post-Purim

Weinberg will present a book
review at 11 a.m. in Room 4.
At 1 p.m. Tuesday in Room
15, Herman Chapin, Detroit
Symphony Orchestra docent,
will discuss the music to be
played at the March 18 coffee
concert.
The second part of the
movie, The Eddie Duchan
Story will be shown in Room
12 at 2 p.m. Tuesday.
On Thursday the Book Fair
Video, Sweety, Baby, Cookie,
Honey wil be shown at 10 a.m.
in the lobby.

culture club in Jaffe Hall at

Transportation
Expands

The senior adult depart-
ment of the Jewish Com-
munity Center's Jimmy Pren-
tis Morris building has ex-
panded its door-to-door
transportation service for
senior adults who wish to at-
tend Center activities.
Older adults in areas of Oak
Park, Southfield, Royal Oak
and Northwest Detroit will be

picked up at their homes at
approximately 10 a.m. and
returned home at approx-
imately 3:15 p.m. on
designated days, Monday
through Friday.

Hearing Set

Older residents, service pro-
viders and other interested
persons are invited to attend
a public hearing sponsored by
the Area Agency on Aging
1-B. The hearing on the pro-
posed Annual Implementa-
tion Plan for fiscal year 1989
will be held at 1 p.m. March
16 at the Oakland County
Commissioner's Auditorium,
Court House Complex, 1200
North Telegraph Road,
Pontiac.

Book Review

Frances Weinberg will lead
the discussion of the book,
The Last Jews in Berlin, by
Leonard Gross, 1 p.m. Mon-
day in the library of the
Jewish Community Center in
West Bloomfield. A fee will be
charged to non-members. For

Sinai Seeks
Volunteers

Volunteer positions are
available through the Sinai
Hospital Guild's volunteer
services department. Russian
speaking adults are needed to
interpret for the increasing
numbers of Russian im-
igrants receiving medical
care through Sinai Hospital.
'Ibur guides, a bookeeper
and gift shop assistants are
also needed. Additional posi-
tions exist helping with the
gift and library cart, the child
immunization program and
in clerical areas.

Expectant
Parent Class

The Oakland County
Health Division will offer a
series of six expectant parent
classes beginning 7 p.m.
Wednesday in the Southfield
office of the Health Division,
