Muskovitz Chair in Cancer
Research was recently in-
augurated and dedicated at
Bar-Ilan University. The occa-
sion was the culmination of
the Muskovitzes' desire both
to perpetuate the memory of
their parents and to material-
ly strengthen Bar-Ilan
University's efforts to combat
cancer.

tion. Melvin Muskovitz, one

Dr. Benjamin Sredni will be
the first incumbent of the
Muskovitz Chair. He is the co-
inventor, along with Prof.

The Muskovitz family ties
to the university go back to
the • 1950s when Mr.
Muskovitz's put up one of the
original first two dormitories
on campus. They established
a cancer research fund in
memory of Mr. Muskovitz's
parents.
