Wins Award

Naomi Berkove, a senior at
Southfield-Lathrup High
School, was the winner of the
League of Jewish Women's
annual Youth Award. The
daughter of Drs. Lawrence
and Gail Berkove, Naomi
received the award as well as
a $500 check "in recognition
of her leadership qualities
and community service ac-
tivities."
In addition to being involv-
ed in her school's honor socie-
ty, Naomi is a founder and
president of Tikvah NCSY.
She plans to use the money to
study in Israel.
