died Feb. 21. Survived by his
wife, Arlene; a son, Michael;
a daughter, Jill; his father,
David; and a sister, Mrs.
Lewis (Laura) Tillman.

EDYTHE BERMAN, 69,
died Feb. 20. She leaves her
husband, David; a son,
Richard; two brothers, George
Krefman and William Kref-
man; two sisters, Mrs. George
(Rose) Cooper and Mrs. Louis
(Dorothy) Sokoloff; five grand-
children and two
great-grandchildren.

LOUIS (LEIZER) BOR-
DOLEY, 78, of Oak Park,
died Feb. 23. Survived by his
wife, Monia; a son, Martin;
two daughters, Mrs. Stephen
(Carol) Busker and Mrs.
Wilfred (Sheila) Ferguson of
Novelty, Ohio; and seven
grandchildren.

ISADORE CHABEN, 74, of
Southfield, died Feb. 19. He

EVA ROBINSON, 92, died
Feb. 10. She leaves a
daughter-in-law, Bess Robin-
son; and granddaughters,

Mrs. Andrew (Cheri) Dworkis,
Mrs. Fred (Barbara) Goldberg,
Mrs. Arnold (Jill) Finkel and
Mrs. David (Lauri) Miller;
and 11 great-grandchildren.

SAM ROGGIN, 73, of Oak
Park, died Feb. 22. Survived
by his wife, Dorothy; a son,
Alan of Oak Park; two
daughters, Karen of Oak Park
and Kathryn Timmington of
Lubbock, Texas; a brother,
Ben of Southfield; and six
grandchildren.

MARY LILLIAN ROGOW,
80, of Detroit, died Feb. 21.
Survived by two sons, Ber-
nard and Roy; a daughter,
Mrs. Joyce Kolb; two brothers,
Max Miller and William
Miller of Cathedral City,
Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Betty
Beare; 12 grandchildren,
eight great-grandchildren
and two great-great-grand-
children.

EMILY SAMUEL, 94, of
Southfield, died Feb. 21. Sur-
vived by a brother, Ellis; a
sister, Mrs. Elsie Neil of Las
Vegas, Nev.; and nieces and
nephews.

SYDELL SERMAN BURK
ROSS, 69, died Feb. 22. She
leaves two sons, Steven Ross
and Barry Ross; a daughter,
Kathleen Brooks; a brother,
William Serman; and three
grandchildren.

MARCUS SPRECHMAN,
91, died Feb. 17. He leaves a
nephew, Solomon Nivy.

ABRAHAM YOUNG, 80,
died Feb. 23. He leaves his
wife, Irene; four sons, Sidney,
Leonard of Phoenix, Ariz.,
Sam, and Dr. Lawrence; a
sister, Mrs. Gussey Bushkoff;
and ten grandchildren.

Albert Kramer

Albert A. Kramer, an at-
torney and former state
representative, died Feb. 20 at
age 64.
Born in Mt. Clemens, Mr.
Kramer was graduated from
the Wayne State University
Law School in 1949. He was
a former Michigan State
Representative (1965-1970)
and former legal counsel for
the insurance committee of
the Michigan House of
Representatives. He retired in
1984. In 1984, he was an un-
cuccessful candidate in an ef-
fort to return to the House.
Mr. Kramer was a staff
sergeant in the medical corps
during World War II. He serv-
ed on the board of directors of
Blue Cross/Blue Shield and
was a special assistant state
attorney general. He was ac-
tive with B'nai B'rith, Labor
Zionist Alliance, the Jewish
War Veterans, and was a
member of Cong. B'nai
Moshe.
He leaves his wife, Sedell;
two daughters, Mrs. Steven
(Maxine) Rabinowe of Med-
field, Maine, and Mrs. Gerald
(Rhonda) Byer; a son, Mat-
thew; a sister, Bessie Berris;
and two grandchildren.

Sadie Rattner

Sadie Rattner, a volunteer
at Sinai Hospital, died Feb. 19
at age 85.
Born in Russia, Mrs. Ratt-
ner was an honorary member
of the board of trustees of the
hospital. She had clocked
more than 60,000 hours of
volunteer service for the
Sinai Hospital Guild.
She leaves three grand-
children, Allen, Terri and
Mark Rattner.
