Series Topic

The Jewish Welfare Federa-
tion and its agencies educa-
tion committee will continue
its education series, "Com-
munity Connections", for
JWF and agency board
members on Saturday at the
Maple/Drake Jewish Com-
munity Center.
Beginning with a continen-
tal breakfast at 9:30 a.m. in
the Center's Shiffman Hall,
the meeting will focus on
Federation's allocations
process.
After an overview by
Federation President Dr. Con-
rad L. Giles, Larry Jackier
will discuss local allocations
issues and James August will
touch overseas allocations
issues. August will also lead
an allocations workshop to
help board members develop
the skills needed for decision-
making and evaluation.
Federation Executive Vice
President Martin Kraar will
provide an update on the
unrest along the West Bank
and Gaza Strip.
