Lung Testing

The Millender Center, in
conjunction with the Henry
Ford Hospital Pulmonary
Medicine Department, will of-
fer free lung function testing
from the Lung Health Study
Center Tuesday and Wednes-
day, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in
the Millender Center Atrium
on the Skywalk Level. The
free tests are sponsored by the
National Heart, Lung and
Blood Institute.

Charles Feinberg
Charles E. Feinberg of
Detroit and Florida has been
named man of the year by the
Greater Miami Women's Divi-
sion of American Friends of
Hebrew University.
Feinberg, who will be
honored Thursday at a dinner
at the Doral Hotel in Miami
Beach, Fla., is a pioneer in ef-
forts on behalf of the univer-
sity. He is a founder, honorary
vice president, former na-
tional chairman of the library
advisory board.
He is a past president of the
University of Detroit Library,
a member of the National
Jewish Committee on
Scouting and recipient of the
Shofar and Silver Beaver
Awards. Feinberg also is a
former honorary consultant
to the Library of Congress an-
da _past president of the
Detroit Association of Phi
Beta Kappa.
He has been a member of
the board of governors of
Hebrew University for more
than 30 years. In 1969, he was
presented with a Fellowship
of the Hebrew University.
In 1954, Feinberg received
a Certificate of Merit from
the U.S. International Infor-
mation Program. He also was.
given the Distinguished
Citizen Award by the Detroit
Historical Society. He was ap-
pointed by the late Gov. G.
Mennen Williams as member
- and chairman of the
Michigan Historical
Commission. -
