THE GREAT
PURIM PARCEL* PROJECT

(Community-Wide Shalach Manos)

* Shalach Manos — In his instructions to the
Jews, Mordechai told them to make Purim "days
. . . of sending portions one to another and gifts
to the poor." In that spirit we send parcels with
at least two kinds of treats to our friends. A great
way for your family to get into the spirit of Purim
and make others happy, too.

Here's What To Do:
Decorate many pretty plates. Include some
fruit (dried or fresh), nuts, wrapped kosher
candy, or small packages of Elite wafers or
chocolates. At least two kinds of foods should
be included. Put each plate into a heavy-duty
Zip-Lock bag.

DROP OFF YOUR PARCELS
AT THESE LOCATIONS ON
SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 28

FROM 9 a.m. TO 1 p.m.

• United Hebrew Schools - 12 Mile Road East of Lahser
• JCC/West Bloomfield - Maple and Drake Roads
• JCC/Prentis Morris Building - 10 Mile Road East of Greenfield

Your parcels will be hand-delivered by B'nai B'rith Youth Organiza-
tion and National Council of Jewish Women Members to:
• Detroit Newcomers via
• Jewish Home For The Aged
Shalom Detroit
• Jewish Meals On Wheels
• Jewish Association for Retarded Citizens
