SAFE SHOPPING FROM GREAT SCOTT!

We want to make shopping in our stores safe for shoppers
and employees alike. Here are some things all of us can do
to achieve this goal:
1. If you see something that is a potential danger: such as a
spill , a floor mat with an edge sticking up that someone
may trip on or a broken bottle, notify the store manager or
a store employee as soon as possible.
2 If you are shopping with young children have them sit in
the front of the cart and use the Childrens safety belt. Keep
your eyes on them at all times or bring along someone who
can Many shoppers arrange with friends who also have
young children to take turns watching each other's
children while they go shopping. In this way you can fully
concentrate on your shopping and the kiddies will have so-
meone to play with.
3. Especially during these winter months it is a good idea to
wear rubber soled footwear when you are out and about.
Although most parking lots are plowed on a regular basis
you never know when you may encounter a patch of ice.
4. When you purchase products such as bleach, cleaning
products or liquid laundry detergent, it is a good idea to
check to make sure the cap is tight both when you place the
item in your basket and on the conveyer at the checkout.
This can help avoid spills on the way home.
