Chajes Concert
Slated Sunday

The Julius Chajes Music
Fund Concert Series will pre-
sent its second concert of the
season at the Maple/Drake
Jewish Community Center
on Sunday at 3:30 p.m. in the
Aaron DeRoy Studio Theater.
The soloists will be Paul
Olefsky, cello, Paulina Stark,
soprano and Lita Guerra,
pianist. Featured on the pro-
gram will be music of Julius
Chajes, Enrique Granados,
Fernando Obradors, Mont-
salvatge and Georges Bizet. A
premier Michigan perfor-
mance will be given by Olef-
sky of Pictures At An Exhibi-
tion by Moussorgsky, arrang-
ed for cello and piano by
Charles Schiff.
Limited tickets are
available at the Center box

Adult Choir
Has Formed

The Jewish Community
Center has formed an adult
choir called the J.C.C. Singers.
The choir will sing music
from Broadway show tunes to
the classics. Israeli and Yid-
dish music will also be includ-
ed in the choir's repertoire.
Mark Kligman is the direc-
tor. The choir is open to the
general public and is still ac-
