TIP FOR REFUNDERS
Many of us have encountered a problem
when trying to remove a label from a product
in order to send it in for a rebate. Here are a
few tips that might help in the future:
1. When attempting to remove a difficult label
from a plastic or glass container, soak a sponge
in hot water and lay the bottle on top of the
sponge for one-half hour. Let the label air dry
for 10 minutes and it should peel off easily.
2. Instead of soaking the container, fill it with
boiling (or very hot) water and allow it to stand
a few minutes to melt the glue.
3. Another approach is to soak the sticker
with spray window cleaner, wait about 10
minutes, and the label should come off easily
and in one piece.
4. Or you may want to try soaking the label
briefly in warm water until it is moistened
through. Pat vinegar on it and then use a sharp
knife to help lift he label off gently.
