The marriage of Phillip
Neuman and Hilda Schwartz
recently took place at Temple
Beth El in Birmingham. Rab-
bi Dannel Schwartz perform-
ed the ceremony, which was
followed by a dinner and
reception at the temple.
The bride is the daughter of
Abraham and Rebecca
Schwartz of West Bloomfield.
She is a registered nurse at
Providence Hospital in
Southfield. The bridegroom is
the son of Donald and Bar-
bara Neuman of Whitefish
Bay, Wis. He is an attorney
with the firm of Rubenstein,
Isaacs, Lax and Bordman,
also in Southfield.
The bride's matron of honor
was Sharon Mayhall of Novi,
and her bridesmaids were
Laura Neuman, sister of the
bridegroom, of Nottingham,
England, Nancy Golden of
Oak Park and Patty Agacin-
ski of Detroit.
The bridegroom selected his
brother, Joel Neuman, of
Chicago, as his best man, and
the ushers were Dr. Bernard
Schwartz of West Bloomfield,
Steven Schwartz of West
Bloomfield, both brothers of
the bride, and Dr. Michael
Neuman of Chicago, brother
of the bridegroom.
The junior usher was Stuart
Schwartz, nephew of the
bride, and the flower girl was
Lisa Schwartz, niece of the
bride. David Thomson, cousin
of the bridegroom, was the
ring bearer. The bridegroom's
grandparents, Mr. and Mrs.
Harry Neuman, of
Milwaukee, and Mr. and Mrs.
Louis Heavenrich, of Hun-
tington Woods, also par-
ticipated in the ceremony.
Following a honeymoon in
the Caribbean, the couple is
living in Novi.
