Women's Organizations will
have its 1988 annual youth
awards program on Feb. 7 at
1:30 p.m. at Temple Beth El,
announces Carole Kaftan,
president.
The youth awards program
honors exceptional Jewish
students who have attained a
high scholastic average,
demonstrated leadership and
have shown a strong commit-
ment to community service
and to a religious education.
This year's applicants were
required to write an essay on
"The Jewish Value System:
How It Operates in America
Today."
Lois Gerenraich, president
of rIbmple Beth El Sisterhood,
will offer the invocation, and
Rabbi Marc S. Blumenthal
will be the keynote speaker.
Mrs. Betty Silverfarb will pre-
sent the awards. A reception
will follow. Charlotte
Nussbaum, vice president of
the league, is chairman of the
youth awards program. The
public is invited.

Board Meeting

Northwest Child Rescue
Women, Senior Group, will
have an open board meeting
on Thursday at 11:30 a.m. at

feature a panel of corporate
women who will discuss pro-
blems encountered by women
in the corporate environment.
Meetings are open to the
public, but advance reserva-
