The study will at- tempt to answer these and other questions. Survivors will also be asked what their perspectives are toward these rescuers today. The study hopes to under- stand what makes one person an altruist and what causes others to stand by and not help. Volunteers For Israel 40th Volunteers are being sought for the community-wide celebration of Israel's 40th anniversary in April and May. The festivities begin April 17, with a performance by the Israeli dance company, Inbal, at the Music Hall. Other events include an Israel Trade Fair, May 1-5, at the Tel-Twelve Mall, and a 6th and 7th grade Quiz Bowl April 24. On May 1, "Festival '88" will be held at the Maple/Drake Jewish Com- munity Center, co-sponsored by the American Jewish Com- mittee and the JCC. It will feature entertainment, displays and a Walk for Israel. Volunteers are also needed for the Yom Hazikaron memorial meeting . The anniversary committee includes: Alex Blumberg, Robert H.
