Gomez is an associate pro-
fessor of English and co-
director of the film studies
program at Wayne State
University. The originator of
the film studies concentration
at WSU's College of Liberal
Arts, Dr. Gomez has lectured
extensively throughout the
Detroit area.

featured some of his
numerous articles on film in-
clude The Journal of Popular
Film, Literature/Film
Quarterly and the Detroit Free
Press.
