Sinai Begins 5-Year Study Sinai Hospital of Detroit, under the direction of Dr. Richard Reid, will begin a five-year human papilloma- virus (HPV) study. The $1.2 million study is being funded by the federal centers for Disease Control and will in- clude 300 patients and 300 control subjects. Dr. Reid has become a special consultant to the Food and Drug Administration and will help the agency evaluate the validity of HPV tests now coming into use. Center Expands Suzuki Dept. The Suzuki music depart- ment at the Maple/Drake Jewish Community Center has expanded. New instruc- tors are Stephanie Preucil, who teaches violin, and Walter Preucil, who teaches cello.
