Ms. Dzodin is working with kindergarten classes, teaching feelings through creative movement and through use of the theatrical mask. Having studied at Tel Aviv University (Ma Theater) with a special emphasis on the mask in oriental theater Ms. Dzodin uses the mask as a tool in employing improvisation. Since receiving her M.A. degree from Tel Aviv Univer- sity, she has given workshops at Oakland University, Wayne State University (School of Special Education), the Detroit Institute of Arts, The Children's Museum and at the Jewish Community Center through a grant from the Michigan Council on the Arts. Last summer, she was a full-time presenter at the CAJE conference (Coalition on Alternatives in Jewish Education) in Atlanta, Ga., and she also will present dance/drama workshops this summer when the CAJE con- ference will be held in Jerusalem.
