The Jewish Welfare Federation — the central
organization of the Jewish community of
Detroit — reaches thousands of people through
social service and education agencies here in
the metropolitan area, in Israel and in 33 other
countries.

Many activities — like this weekend's Campaign
Super Sunday telethon — bring our commu-
nity together. They give you and your family an
opportunity to reach out to other Jews and to
strengthen the services and programs that
benefit all of us.

On the local scene, Federation volunteers and
professional staff play a vital role in budgeting
and coordinating agency services, developing
new and creative programs and raising funds to
support them through the Allied Jewish
