classes that Bais Chabad of

On Sundays: beginners,
Talmud Tractate Kidushim at
8 a.m.; Talmud for young
teens, Tractate Brochot at 10
a.m.; Basic Judaism, theory
and practice at 11 a.m.
Laws of Sabbath will be
taught at 7 p.m. Tuesdays;
and Kabbalah and Chasidic
philosophy for the layman at
8 p.m. Wednesday in the

Rabbi Chaim Bergstein also

The public affairs commit-
tee of Metro Detroit Zionist
Organization of America
declared last week that U.S.
strictures against Israel's
handling of the Arab
disorders in Judea, Samaria
and Gaza were unwarranted.
The ZOA said that Israel's
first priority was to re-
establish law and order and
that the measures it adopted
are neither oppressive nor
illegal.
