SAY IT WITH '4's- TREES Stanley Rosen Stanley Q. Rosen, chairman and chief executive officer of Brass Craft Manufacturing Co. for 41 years, died Jan. 13 at age 66. A resident of Birmingham and Scottsdale, Ariz., Mr. Rosen served in World War II with the 46th Air Depot Group as a technical sergeant. His affiliations include the Jewish Welfare Federation, Anti-Defamation League of B'nai B'rith, the Technion, Detroit Institute of Arts, Maryland Institute College of Arts, Detroit Symphony Or- chestra, Museum of Contem- porary Art in Chicago and Knollwood Country Club. He is survived by his wife, Madalyn; three children, Paul of Boston, Mass., Jann of Baltimore, Md., and Aarn of Michigan. Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Birmingham Temple. Lester Bernbaum Lester Bernbaum, twice president of the Detroit Lodge of B'nai B'rith, died Dec. 18 at age 75. A former Detroiter and resi- dent of Tamarac, Fla., at the time of his death, Mr. Bern- baum also was a United Jewish Appeal volunteer for ten years. He is survived by his wife, Ruth; two sons, Kenneth of Berkeley, Calif., and Stuart of Redlands, Calif.; a sister, Lor- raine Weiss of Canton, Mich.; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Rae Cohen Rae (Corlin) Cohen, a member of Thmple Beth El for more than 60 years, died Jan. 13 at age 85. Born in New York, Mrs. Cohen lived in Detroit more than 70 years. She was a member of Hadassah and the National Council of Jewish Women. She leaves two sons, Sher- win Corlin and Gerald Corlin; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Sandy Friedman Sanford "Sandy" Fried- man, a professional photographer for most of his life, died Jan. 18 at age 41. Born in Detroit, Mr. Fried- man was a member of the Professional Photographers Association. He owned his own business, Sandy Fried- man Photography at Harvard Row mall for 23 years. He was slated to become the presi- dent of the North Farmington-West Bloomfield Little League. There are cur- rently plans for naming a new baseball field in his memory. Bnei Brak Rabbi Dead At Age 77 Jerusalem (JTA) — Rabbi Moshe Tukuchinsky, for decades the spiritual guide of the Slobodka Yeshiva in Bnei Brak, died last week at age 77.
