Self-Defense
Class Offered

The Workout Co., 6652
Telegraph, Bloomfield
Township, will begin a five-
week course on self-defense at
1:30 p.m. Saturday.
Instructor Dave Sabbach
will teach basic hitting
techniques, weapons on the
body, vital targets, blocking,
basic self-defense moves and
confidence-building
techniques.
Each class will include a
stretch out, review, new
material, and instructions on
how to get out of certain
situations.
There is a charge. The se-
cond five-week session will

the theme of the Temple
Israel Singles Extension
Group (50 plus social event

J.E.F.F. Program
For Temple

Jewish Experiences for
Families will conduct the
third program for fourth-sixth
graders and their parents
Sunday at the Temple
Emanu-El Religious school at
11 a.m. in the Katzman
Social Hall. Music and
storytelling will be
highlighted.
The ninth grade will see the
Pink Floyd Laser Light. Show
on Jan. 23. The group will
then go on to Buddy's for piz-
za. This is part of social pro-
gramming for all of the tem-
ple's high school students.
