Tamarack Camps
Have Jamboree

Tamarack Camps will hold
their annual jamboree and
reunion at the main Jewish
Community Center, Shiffman
Hall, on Sunday at 1 On.
There will be more than 40
activity booths, all offered
free of charge to the general
community. Refreshments
also will be available free of
charge.
There will be a continuous
showing of the Tamarack
Camps movie, as well as
displays, and slide shows of
the summer programs.
Tamarack Camps, Fresh
Air Society, a member agen-
cy of the Jewish Welfare
Federation and the United
Foundation, provides summer
residential camping ex-
periences at Camp Tamarack
for children entering second-
fifth grades, and at Camp
Maas for pre-teen and teens
entering sixth-tenth grades.
There are nine-day, two-week,
three-week and four-week
programs. Summer brochures
and registration materials
will be available for parents
in room 239 of the Center.

Annual Meeting
Due For CHAIM

CHAIM Children of Holo-
caust Survivors Association
in Michigan — will have its
annual meeting on Sunday at
11 a.m. in Room 239 of the
main Jewish Community
Center. Prof. Sid Bolkosky,
Bernie Kent and Charley
Silow will discuss their recent
trip to California to attend
the Inernational Network of
Children of Jewish Holocaust
Survivors meeting.
At this meeting, the elec-
tion of officers and trustees
will take place. Refreshments
will be served. There is a
charge for non-members.
