(Organization for Rehabilita-
tion through Training) will
present the author/painter/ed-
ucator Jacques Kravetz, a
teacher of French and
philosophy at the ORT School
in Montreuil, France, at two
gatherings here.
At 7:30 p.m. today, he will
address an Oneg Shabbat for
a young leaders meeting in
the home of Selwyn and
Hilary Isakow, and on Sunday
at 7:30 p.m., he will meet
with ORT scholarship con-
tributors in the home of
Richard and Gayle Burstein,
1116 Pembroke, Bloomfield
Hills. Burstein is the presi-
dent of Detroit Men's ORT.
The son of a Russian
emigrant who was deported
in 1943, Kravetz is a well-
known French writer and ar-
tist.
He will speak at these infor-
mal gatherings about his
thoughts on the ORT schools
in France and around the
world, and share his ex-
periences of growing up in
Europe during World War II.
