Federation/Campaign Sab-
bath will focus on the concept
of Jewish community and the
Jewish tradition of tzedakah
— how Federation and its
Allied Jewish Campaign seek
to meet the ever-growing
needs within the Jewish com-
munity, in Israel and
elsewhere overseas. The
message touches upon
Federation's social service
agencies and community-
awareness programs.
The special Sabbath is a
prelude to the Campaign's
Jan. 24 Super Sunday
telethon at the United
Hebrew Schools. In conjunc-
tion with the national United
Jewish Appeal effort, 200
communities across the coun-
try will participate in Super
Sunday.
