and Toby Slabosky of Knox-
ville, Tenn. celebrated their
50th wedding anniversary on
Dec. 26. The family gathered
for a celebratory dinner in
their honor in Knoxville.
The Slabosky's were mar-
ried in Chattanooga, Tenn. in
1937. They moved to Detroit
where Louis worked as a
manufacturer's represen-
tative and Toby as a social
worker for Jewish Family

Hollywood Cavalcade, at 2
p.m. Sunday in the Assembly
Hall.
"Adapting to Daily Living,"
a six-part lecture series
discussing supportive devices,
led by Leila Raden, a certified
rehabilitation registered
nurse, will begin at 1:30 p.m.
Monday in Room 2.

"other" wife of the biblical

The Senior Adult Depart-

part of the fourth annual Dor
l'Dor (generation to genera-
tion) Program. At 2 p.m. Tues-
day, Close Harmony, a
documentary movie depicting
a program similar to that of
Dor l'Dor, will be shown in
Assembly Hall.
The Moadon, a Hebrew
language discussion group
facilitated by Israel Klemer,
meets weekly on Wednesdays
at 12:30 p.m. in Room 2.

their experiences dealing
with civic leaders and politi-
cians in addition to discuss-
ing the social aspects of news
writing at 1 p.m. Monday at
the Maple/Drake Jewish
Community Center. There is
no charge and the program is
open to everyone.
