The fee in- cludes round-trip transporta- tion plus the price of admission. After the presentation the group will go to Sarah's kosher deli. The program is open to any teenager, regardless of Jewish background, between 8th and 12th grades. NCSYers from throughout the Detroit area will travel Jan. 22 to a special Shab- baton for 5th to 7th graders in Cincinnati, Ohio. The theme of the weekend will be "Israel in our Lives." NCSY will conduct its weekly Shabbat group pro- gram beginning at 3:45 p.m. Saturday. Shabbat groups are geared for youngsters in the 1st through 6th grades. NCSY will conduct a special shiur (class) on Par- shat Va'era, 7:30 p.m. Monday at Young Israel of Southfield. The class will be given by Rabbi Mark Cohn, regional director of Central East NCSY and is open to any teenager in the 8th through 12th grade. Refreshments will be served and there is no charge. For information, contact Rabbi Cohn, 967-3300. B'nei Akiva Juniors Begun B'nei Akiva has establish- ed a division for youth in grades six, seven, and eight. The B'nei Akiva Juniors will be based at the Young Israel of Southfield, and will meet each month for fun activities and special trips. The Juniors will also participate in an oneg Shabbat program in which relevant topics and educational and entertaining programs will be offered. For the opening event of the B'nei Akiva Juniors, the group will meet at the Young Israel of Southfield on Jan. 17 for a day of ice skating. Jan. 15-17, B'nei Akiva will host a mini-shabbaton for 10th and 11th graders in- terested in B'nei Akiva sum- mer programs. Yitzchak Feigenbaum, national direc- tor of B'nei Akiva, will speak to the 10th graders on the Mach-Hach Ba'Aretz — Sum- mer in Israel program, and will address-the 11th graders on the Torah Va'Avoda Institute. Tamarack Offers Summer Camps Tamarack Camps (Fresh Air Society) will offer several programs this summer. A two-week mini-camp at Camp Maas will be offered to kids entering 6th grade. Ses- sions begin June 26 and July 10. Camp Maas will also host a "Live and Learn Leader- ship Program" for entering 11th graders. Participants will live together in their own village unit and be in- volved in advanced camping and leadership development experiences. A nine-day mini-camp for children ,entering 2nd grade will be held at Camp Tamarack at Brighton. Separate nine-day mini- camps in sports, aquatics, arts and nature crafts, drama and dance will be offered to children entering 3rd-5th grades, beginning June 21 and 30. In addition, the camp will offer three 19-day ses- sions for children entering 2nd-5th grades, beginning June 21, July 12, and Aug. 2. Camp Maas at Ortonville will offer a 26-day program for youth entering 6th-8th grades. Activity areas include a ropes course, climbing tower, Smokier Pioneer Skills Center, Bargman arts and crafts shops and Sobell and Rodecker Waterfronts. Four-week specialized pro- grams at Camp Maas include Kfar Ivri (entering 6th-9th graders), a Hebrew speaking program with emphasis on Jewish cultural activities, dance village (entering 6th-8th graders), and horseback-riding ranch
