Deanne Ginns Gruenberg
will speak.
Now in its second year, the
Food for Thought series
focuses on current issues af-
fecting the Jewish
community.
Director of community
education for Womancare in
Southfield, Gruenberg has
conducted workshops for
thousands of adults and
young people. She focuses on
opening the lines of com-
munication between grand-
parents, parents and children
and helping them share
values.
Deena Canvasser and Nan-
cy Glass are chairmen of the
Food for Thought series.
Cathy Slavik is associate
chairman, Nancy Levy is lun-
cheon chairman and Annie
Cohen is advisor. Marian
Kantor is a vice president of
Women's Division, and
Sharon Hart is president.

sion of Machon L'Torah, the
Jewish Learning Network of
Michigan, slated for Sunday
at 1 p.m. at the Jewish Com-
munity Center Jimmy Pren-
tis Morris Building.
An Oriental buffet will be
served. Babysitting will be
provided. Musical entertain-
ment will be presented by
Jessica Kligman, vocalist.
