Young Adults
To Attend Parley

Larry Jackier will address
the Jewish Welfare Federa-
tion Young Adult Division at
a meeting for Allied Jewish
Campaign contributors of
$100 or more on Jan. 14 at
the Radisson Plaza Hotel.
Set for 7:30 p.m. in the
Algonquin Ballroom, the
meeting will give young
adults an opportunity to
socialize and meet with
Jackier.
A national United Jewish
Appeal vice chairman,
Jackier has recently returned
from a fact-finding mission to
six countries as part of the
UJA's Kadima leadership
team. He will narrate a
presentation of slides taken
during the mission.
On the local scene, Jackier
is a member of Federation's
Executive Committee and
chairs its Conference of Divi-
sion Chairmen. He also
chairs the Project Renewal
Committee and is the adviser
to the Allied Jewish Cam-
paign divisions.'
He is.a board member of the
Jewish Community Center
and United Jewish Charities,

signed up to join 3,000 young
Jewish leaders from around
the country at the UJA Young
Leadership Cabinet's sixth
National Young Leadership
Conference, March 13-15 in
Washington, D.C.
During three full days of
programming, which will in-
clude an Israel Independence
Day celebration, participants
will be briefed by State
Department and Congres-
sional leaders, and attend ses-
sions with top Israeli govern-
ment representatives.
Detroit Committee
Chairmen Lauren Liss and
Owen Perlman are working
out the details for a recruit-
ment meeting in January,
which will provide informa-
tion on this United Jewish
Appeal-sponsored event.
