Marimba Soloist
At OP Library

Ken Wolin, marimba
soloist, will appear at the Oak
Park Library at 7:30 p.m. Dec.
27. Wolin is a junior at
Oberlin Conservatory of
Music, where he is studying
with Prof. Michael Rosen.
Wolin previously studied for
seven years with Sam Tundo,
perussionist with the Detroit
Symphony Orchestra.
Some of Wolin's ac-
complishments include:
marimba soloist in the Per-
cussive Arts Society Interna-
tional Convention, marimba
performance on live radio
during the semi-finals of the
Quest for Excellence 1987,
marimba soloist in Oberlin
Conservatory Honors Recital
last fall and several perfor-
mances at Oberlin.
