Road recently collecting
baskets of groceries. The
winning team consisted
of GEORGE BAIER of

SILBERSTEIN of WDIV
and WARREN PIERCE
of WJR. Each team
member grabbed the
grocery cart for two
minutes, and they
managed to accumulate
over $800 worth of
groceries. The groceries
were donated to the
Saint Vincent Sarah
Fisher Home, and the
total earnings of the
teams — $1248.15 —
went to the Variety Club
of Detroit, a charitable
organization.
