s

halom Group of
Hadassah expanded its
annual Chanukah
party last Sunday.
The annual event for members
and their families was moved
to the Fleischman residence of
the Jewish Home for Aged to
become an inter-generational
event.

Youngsters brought
inexpensive grab-bag gifts, and
each family came with their
own menorah. Candlelighting,
latkes and refreshments,
Chanukah songs, making
decorations, and a magic show
completed the two-hour
celebration. Linda Balkin and
Nancy Handleman co-chaired
the event for Shalom Group.
