space on the tarmac, four
Washington Metro • busses
pull alongside as if by
clockwork. The disembarking
rallygoers take their white-
bag kosher lunches — turkey
sandwich, halvah bar and a
box of apple juice — and are
greeted at the bottom of the
plane's steps by Detroiter
Paul D. Borman, who had
been in Washington atten-
ding a convention.
"I wonder if Mrs. (Geri)
Levitt will give us green
stamps for going" to the ral-
ly, commented Aaron Ham-
burger, 14, flying with his
parents, Dr. and Mrs. Joel
Hamburger, and with fellow
Shaarey Zedek students
David Ingber, 14, Esther In-
gber, 12, and their mother
Roberta.
Aaron expressed di sappoint-
ment that he was not on
Plane A, which carried most
of the Michigan youth groups.
But there were other
youngsters aboard, including
Aaron Cooper, traveling with
his father, Judge Stephen
