ADL Offers
Holiday Booklet

"Holiday Time," Anti-
Defamation League of B'nai
B'rith's new booklet for
parents of Jewish children in
public school, was designed as
a manual to help deal with
the proliferation of religious
activities in the schools, ac-
cording to Robert J. Gordon,
president of ADDs Michigan
Regional Board. "The booklet
deals with the recent 'equal
access law,' joint celebrations,
excused absences, teaching
about religion, religious pro-
gramming under school
auspices and even music pro-
grams," said Gordon.
The booklet is six pages
long, free on request and be-
ing mailed to area
superintendents by the ADL.
For information, call the
ADL, 355-3730.
