New York
In Southfield

Detroit area young adults
(post-college age through
early-30s) are invited to New
York, without ever leaving
Southfield, at 8 p.m. Dec. 12.
The Jewish Welfare Federa-
tion Young Adult Division is
sponsoring the event in the
Atrium at LaMirage Mall.
The streets of New York will
be re-created for the evening,
complete with the sounds of
Broadway, a New York style
deli buffet and live music pro-
vided by Ambience II of Ann
Arbor.
There is a charge for the
evening, and reservations are
required. There will be no
solicitations.

TANDU Hosts
Singles Trips

TANDU, World Jewish
Singles Club, has arranged
trips to Egypt, Turkey,
Switzerland, Poland,
Hungary and Kenya, in addi-
tion to a special Passover in
Israel trip for 1988.
Israeli scholars will accom-
pany the groups on the trips
discussing the history and
whereabouts of ancient
Jewish communities.
Two groups go on each trip:
one for persons 25-45 and the
other for persons age 45 and
up. TANDU is directed by Dr.
Mordechai Friedman.
