RICHER.
The naturally good taste of Sunsweet' prune
juice tastes even richer with pulp. Made from
sun-ripened prunes/100% natural Sunsweet
with pulp also has more dietary fiber. And

New York (JTA) — Hun-
dreds of Lubavitch Hasidim
crowded the sidewalk in front
of the movement's world
headquarters in Crown
Heights, Brooklyn, N.Y, last
week to cheer the long-
awaited return of some 500
books from the library of the
sixth Lubavitcher rebbe.
Eleven crates of books were
quickly unloaded from an ar-
mored car by the activists in
the two-and-a-half-year-old
legal case. It had pitted Barry
Gourary, a grandson of the
sixth Lubavitcher rebbe,
Joseph Schneersohn, against
the entire community of
Agudas Chasidei Chabad.
The Appeals Court for the
Second Circuit in Manhattan
unanimously upheld the
original decision of Jan. 6,
1987, awarding the library to
the Chabad Lubavitch
movement.
Gourary, who in spring
1985 was seen on the library's
video surveillance system
surreptitiously removing
books, had maintained that
part of the library was
rightfully his by dint of a
handwritten will left by his
grandmother, the widow of
the sixth rebbe.
According to Orthodox
Jewish law, a widow may not
inherit her husband's estate.
That, coupled with the un-
signed testament and
Gourary's secretiveness in
taking the books all con-
tributed to outright award of
the library to the Lubavitch
community. Chabad main-
tained the sixth rebbe had
amassed the library for them.
The case was decided in
secular court, because a
religious Jewish court has no
provision for a restraining
order, which Chabad used to
stop Gourary from selling any
more than the more than 100
books he had already sold for
personal gain.

Begun Release
Hits Snag
Tel Aviv (JTA) — The long-
awaited arrival in Israel of
refusenik leader Iosif Begun
and his family has hit a new
snag, Soviet emigre sources
here said last week.
They said the entire Begun
family — Iosif and his wife In-
na, his son Boris, 23, and his
wife Yanna, 24, and their
child — went to collect their
exit visas. Iosif and Inna
received theirs, but Boris and
Yanna demanded the right to
retain their Soviet citizenship
