KEEPING TRACK OF YOUR REBATES
Organization is the key to keeping track of your rebates. In a
notebook list each offer that you send for. Include in the intorma-
tion recorded. the qualifiers that were sent, the address the offer
was mailed to. the date the refund was sent in, the expiration date
and what you were to receive. Every time you get a refund be sure
to check it off in your notebook. While you are making these en-
tries check the packaging on the products involved in each offer
and see if they include a toll free phone number, it so. jot it down.
If your offer does not arrive in timely fashion calling these phone
numbers is an easy way to follow up.
Keeping your refund forms in order is something else that will
make cashing in easier. Be sure to underline all expiration dates
on the forms. Organize them by their expiration dates, placing all
offers that expire before the first of a given month in one section
of a tile box. For any offer that you plan to take advantage of that
does not require a form, fill out a card with all of the necessary
information and file it with your other forms.
During the first week of each month. check the forms that are
expiring and concentrate on collecting the qualifiers needed to com-
plete those offers. Always allow one week for delivery to the ad-
dress on the form. This will allow for any delay in delivery and
guarantee that your request will arrive before the post office box
