W.A.N.D., Women's Action
for Nuclear Disarmament,
will present Sen. Lana
Pollack (D AnnArbor) at a
meeting on Tuesday, at 7:30
p.m. in the Marcotte Room of
the Southfield Public Library.
Sen. Pollack, who is a can-
didate for the U.S. House of
Representatives in
Michigan's 2nd District, will
speak on "Women, the Arms
Race and the National
Budget." The community is
invited.
Sen. Pollack received her
B.A. degree in political
science and her M.A. degree
in education from the Univer-
sity of Michigan. She
previously served as a
member of the Ann Arbor
Board of Education and was
a teacher. She is a member of
Hadassah, ORT, the Anti-
Defamation League, the
Washtenaw Jewish Com-
munity Center and American
Jewish Congress. There is a

"Melodies from the Siddur"
is the topic of a new monthly
series of luncheon programs
which Cantor Louis Klein
will conduct for the
Sisterhood of Cong. B'nai
Moshe, beginning at noon
Dec. 14, in the synagogue
board room.
There is a charge for lunch,
and reservations may be
made by calling Pearlena
Bodzin, 357-1157, by Thurs-
day. Subsequent sessions will
be held the second Monday of
each month.
The film The Mad Adven-
tures of 'Rabbi' Jacob will be
screened at 8 p.m. Saturday.
There is a charge, and tickets
may be obtained at the door.

Meeting Monday

Primrose Benevolent Club
will meet noon Monday in the
Lincoln Thwers Apts. club

Final reports will be read
about the donor luncheon.

Deborah Groups, Hadassah,
will hold a day of fun and

Woods club house on Tuesday,
with Chanukah boutiques
opening at 11 a.m. The lun-
cheon/meeting will be at
noon. Following there will be
a "Fashion Forecast" by
Shirley Becker.
