Here's some advice that will last a lifetime.

Israel
Rabbi
Mowshowitz, who is Con-
servative and is on
Cuomo's staff, told the
Washington Jewish Week
that he is certain the
Cuomo family wished him
to officiate but "they
understand that I could
not perform it." He attend-
ed the ceremony and made
the blessing over the bread
at the banquet. Mrs. Cole
admitted that her son had
agreed to raise any
children in the Catholic
faith. "It was very impor-
tant to us" that a rabbi par-
ticipate, she said. "Both of
the children have a mutual
respect for each other and
their religions and both
are going to learn each
other's religion." The
ceremony was performed
under a tallis.
This is a nostalgic treat
that makes "Dos Pintele Yid"
a reality.
