DIVORCED CELEBRITIES
Twenty-five women
formerly married to
celebrities have formed a
club called L.A.D.I.E.S. The
acronym means Life After
Divorce Is Eventually Sane.
Included in this group are
LYN LANDON (Ex Mrs.
Mike), JACKIE JOSEPH
(Ex Mrs. Ken Berry), FAY
HACKMAN (Ex Mrs. Gene)
and SANDY NIMOY (Ex
Mrs. Leonard). After ap-
pearing on Kelly & Co.,
they came to the Jewish
Vocational Service, speak-
ing to the Displaced
Homemakers Program. The
audience shared many pro-
blems with this support
group including discussions
on finding an attorney,
changing outdated divorce
laws, and communicating
with children. The
celebrities and the audience
also shared some humorous
moments. One audience
member confesses how she
dreamed of killing her hus-
band: "I fed him eggs
everyday, because they have
a high cholesterol content.
I wanted him to die a
dignified death.".
