Senior Adults
To See Movie

The senior adult depart-
ment of the Jewish Corn-
munity Center, Jimmy Pren-
tis Morris Branch, invites all
seniors to a showing of the
movie, When My Baby Smiles
at Me, at 2 p.m. Sunday in the
assembly hall at no charge.
Jerome Weidman will
discuss his book, Praying for
Rain, via large screen video
at 9:30 a.m. Monday in the
JPM atrium.
Mimi Robbins will discuss
her recent visit to the Soviet
Union at the Tuesday Lecture
Series at 1 p.m. Tuesday in
the JPM assembly'hall.
The movie, You Can't Run
Away From It, will be shown
by Archie Leslie in the JPM
assembly hall at 2 p.m.
Tuesday.
The Culture Club invites
everyone to an all-Yiddish
performance of The World of
Difference and The World Is a
Theater, presented by Eva
Meister and Eileen Israel, at
12:45 p.m. Thursday in Jaffe
Hall of the JPM.
There will be a games day
in Jaffe Hall of the JPM at 1
p.m. Nov. 15. Prizes and
refreshments will be provid-

Senior Program
Adds To Staff

The Senior adult staff of the
Jimmy Prentis Morris
Branch of the Jewish Com-
munity Center has added
Diane Sands as program
developer, as a result of a
grant from the Area Agency
on Aging. She will focus on
outreach programs for new
retirees and the frail elderly.
Sands, who last worked
with pre-primary impaired
children in the Farmington
Schools, serves on the board of
directors of the Michigan
Association for Children and
Adults with Learning Disa-
bilities. She is a graduate of
Michigan State University.

Heating Dealers
Aid Seniors

The Northwest Heating and
Cooling Dealers Association,
a local trade group, will hold
a "Senior Citizens Service
Day" on Saturday, beginning
at 8 a.m.
Participating contractors
will provide free furnace
maintenance service to senior
citizens who cannot afford it.
They will make any neces-
sary repairs, at no charge,
with a 30-day warranty. If
necessary, a limited number
