out taking care of the world
situation when Joey and
Freddy Cohan came with
grandmother Irene Cohan to
visit him . . . They wanted to
see where the U.S. President
lived, and so Irene took them
on their first airplane ride .. .
There were other things to
see, President Reagan, so
don't feel too bad.

"DESIGNING WOMEN"
on Channel 2 TV reminds of
the gals at Bardone Interiors
at Applegate Square, Nor-
thwestern and Inkster . . .
The Bardone lassies have a
close-knit company who take
to heart the personal as well
as professional problems of
their clients . . . An example
is owner, sweet Donna
Heligman, getting an
estranged couple back
together by talking to them
at private intervals . . . Don-
na is a comparative newlywed
herself . . . and glad to see
these two as happy now as she
and hubby Rick . . . They
came into Bardone and said,
"We're getting rid of any bad
memories. The house goes
first. Can you help us furnish
another one?" . . . And so,
over much conversation and
coffee, Donna and her staff
put their heads together for
the couple's "new" dream
home . . . She wanted classic
and he contemporary . . . Was
their first argument after get-
ting together . . . each in-
sisting on having what the
other wanted . . . Donna set-
tled everything by mixing
classic with contemporary.
CONGRATS.... to Arlene
Greer of Valentina . . . on her
birthday.
