Leadership llbsaining
For USY Leadership

Greater Detroit United
Synagogue Youth will spon-
sor a leadership training
seminar on Sunday for
members of their chapter ex-
ecutive boards. The session
will be held at Cong. Beth
Shalom from 1 until 8:30 p.m.
The seminar will be led by
Elliot Forchheimer. A full-
time member of the national
staff of the department of
youth activities of the United
Synagogue of America, For-
chheimer currently serves as
activities director.
He directs the USY on
Wheels program, which sends
270 USYers each summer

across country and to Florida
on summer-long bus trips. In
addition, he coordinates all
adviser training programm-
ing for USY and will be
leading the second youth ad-
viser seminar to Israel this
winter.
Forchheimer has a Bachelor
of Arts degree and a teaching
license from Columbia
University. He is enrolled in
a master of Judaica degree
program at the Jewish
Theological Seminary of
America, in New York.
