Jacob C. Wallenberg

The Holocaust Memorial
Center's Righteousness
Award will be presented to
Raoul Wallenberg at the in-
stitution's third anniversary
dinner next month. Jacob C.
Wallenberg, second cousin of
Raoul Wallenberg, will accept
the award on behalf of the
Wallenberg family and will
speak briefly on Raoul
Wallenberg's background and
his historic mission of rescue
of thousand of Jews during
the Holocaust.
Jacob Wallenberg, who now
resides in Stamford, Conn.
was born in Sweden,
graduated from the Royal
Swedish Academy and holds
the rank of Cor inlander in
the Royal Swecish Naval
Reserve. He is presently
heading a New York company
affiliated to another multi-
national shipping concern
known as the Gokal Group.
He became involved in the
Raoul Wallenberg Committee
of the United States soon
after its inception and is
presently a vice chairman of
the organization.
Rep. Tom Lantos (D-Calif.),
the only Holocaust survivor
to be elected to the U.S. Con-
gress, and author of legisla-
tion conferring honorary U.S.
citizenship on Raoul
Wallenberg, will be the guest
speaker at the dinner at 5:30
p.m. Nov. 15 in the
Renaissance Ballroom of the
Westin Hotel.

of the event and Jack A.
Robinson is patron committee
chairman. For information
