Survey Probes
Needs Of Aged

Five thousand question-
naires were mailed this week
as part of an effort to help
identify the needs and con-
cerns of older Jewish people
and their families.
The survey, which will
reach households in all age
groups, is part of the continu-
ing effort of a joint task force
of the Jewish Welfare Federa-
tion and Jewish Home for Ag-
ed. The data will be used to
assist both Federation and
the Home in their long range
planning efforts.
Thomas I. Klein chairs the
task force, which has been
working through the past 12
months to develop long-range
plans.
Gerontological Services,
Inc. (GSI), a nationally
recognized consulting firm
located in Santa Monica,
Calif., will conduct the
survey.
