Fashion Spree
Re-Locates
Fashion Spree 1987 is
changing location this year to
the Michigan State
Fairgrounds, Community
Arts Building. It will be held
Nov. 8 and 9 from 9:30 a.m. to
8 p.m. with free parking at
main gate 5.
Sponsored by the National
Council of Jewish Women,
Fashion Spree is a two-day
sale of gently used and new
designer/label clothing for the
entire family.
This is Fashion Spree's
seventh year. It is run by
more than 200 volunteers
who work year round
recruiting from area mer-
chants and the best closets in
town.
This year, Fashion Spree is
adding a sewer's circle bouti-
que by collecting trims,
fabrics, buttons and even
shoulder pads to be offered as
a savings to customers.
Proceeds from this sale go
to ongoing NCJW communi-
ty services and initiate new
programs such as Up and Out
for seniors and
Adopt-A-School.
