Elizabeth placed eighth in Michigan in the 7-9-year-old category. Elizabeth earned her season-best 36 handicap while racing at Snowmass, Colo. The Coca-Cola Junior NASTAR program ranks the top ten boys and girls in six age categories in each of 43 states. Intensive Study Course Offered The Conservative Rabbis of Metropolitan Detroit have in- troduced a new program call- ed "The Rabbinic Seminar," an intensive study of tradi- tional Jewish texts for students from grades ten through 12. She will attend the Michigan Region BBYO Fall Conclave, visit chapters and appear before the Michigan BBYO board of directors. Michelle Blumenthal Ms. Blumenthal has been a member of Fannie Sablosky BBG in Dallas for the past five years and has held vir- tually every major position in the youth organization in that time. Last year she serv- ed as international BBG sh'licha for North America and an international BBG representative to the Anti- Defamation League of B'nai B'rith. The theme of this year's fall conclave at Camp Maas in Or- tonville is "BBYO U" and participants will select from a number of different courses that will be offered throughout the weekend. Besides the mini-courses offered on Saturday, Deanne Gruenberg will speak to the delegation on AIDS. Saturday night's dance will be a "toga party."
